Of all the songs that were recorded, only a dozen are expected to show up on the release, which is due out through TVT Records on June 26th. The band is currently mixing the effort with producer Machine at the Machine Shop studio in Hoboken, NJ.

The Bay Area's TECHNOCRACY, featuring former VIO-LENCE guitarist Phil Demmel, will be performing at the Paradise Lounge in San Francisco on April 5th on a bill that will also include UNJUST and WYTEBREAD.

JACOB'S DREAM have recruited Derek Eddleblute to replace the recently-departed guitarist duo of Gary Holtzman and Jon Noble. The group's sophomore effort, Theater Of War, is due out shortly.

According to Metal EdgeOnline, DOKKEN bassist Jeff Pilson, who fronted his own band called WAR &amp PEACE in the late '80s, is revisiting that band name again via a new album called Light at the End of the Tunnel, due out in late April in Japan on Pony Canyon and in May in the States through Shrapnel Records. The material—some of it DOKKEN-like and some more experimental—consists of some songs intended for but not used by DOKKEN, songs Pilson had never finished, and others he did that appeared elsewhere: 'Stay Out of My Mind' was originally included on DIO's Angry Machines album and 'What Cost War' was recorded by then-ex-LOUDNESS singer Munetaka Higuchi on his Dream Castle CD. Pilson, who sings and plays all the basic tracks on it, gets assistance from SCORPIONS drummer James Kottak on all but two of the ten songs, while a host of solo-contributing guitarists offer a helping hand, among them DOKKEN bandmate Reb Beach, one-time DOKKEN touring member John Norum (ex-EUROPE),Paul Gilbert (ex-MR. BIG),Richie Kotzen (MR. BIG/ex-POISON) and Jon Levin (ex-WARLOCK).
